Cambria Construction in San Martin, CA | Silver Line Contractors

We provide independent Cambria quartz fabrication and installation across San Martin, from template to final polish. What makes our Cambria work different here is that we schedule around the realities of rural parcels: private-road access, county inspections, and large-lot ADU or shop kitchens, not a typical in-town job. If you’re planning a Cambria countertop in San Martin, call (833) 400-1314 for a free estimate.

We’re a full-scope San Martin General Contractor, so the same crew that templates your Cambria top can also handle the cabinet installation, island framing, and backsplash behind it. One contract, every phase.

Why San Martin Residents Choose Us for Cambria Service

Cambria quartz shows up in a lot of San Martin kitchens. Ranch houses getting their first real remodel, ADUs going in on the back of a two-acre parcel, shop kitchens with a slab counter that needs to take some abuse. We work with Cambria’s full range, from Cambria Ella on warm gray ranch remodels to Cambria Torquay on larger custom builds, and we’ve templated enough of them to know how each line behaves under a router and a seam setter.

Noel Carvalho, our owner and general contractor, grew up in Gilroy’s south end and offers Gilroy Cambria service alongside his work across Santa Clara County, where he studied construction technology at Gavilan College before working every phase of residential and commercial builds. He runs our Cambria work the same way he runs the rest of the company: straight scheduling, material choices that hold up through dry summers and wet winters, and no overselling.

Being independent matters here. We’re not tied to Cambria’s dealer network, so we’ll tell you honestly if Cambria makes sense for your project, or if another surface will serve you better. When Cambria is right, we cut it, polish it, and install it correctly, with OEM-quality fabrication practices and seam work that holds.

Common Cambria Construction Problems We Solve in San Martin

  • Seam and corner failures on oversized islands. Overhangs that push past 12 inches without proper corbels or a solid substrate are the most common failure we see, especially in ADU and shop kitchens built to a tight budget. The slab settles, the seam opens, and the corner starts to move. We fix the support first, then the stone.
  • Chip-outs at sink cutouts and dishwasher edges. Thin 2cm tops chip when the template support is weak or the undermount clips aren’t set right. We see this all the time in San Martin kitchens where the original install was rushed. The fix is re-profiling the edge with diamond abrasives and setting proper clips, not filling the chip with epoxy and hoping.
  • Heat scorching near cooktops. Cambria is quartz, and quartz will discolor under direct heat. Older ranch kitchens being updated without moving the range are the usual culprit. We can sometimes sand and re-polish light scorching on matte or honed finishes; deep burns usually mean replacing that section.
  • Dull, scratched honed surfaces. Agricultural-adjacent homes get heavy daily use. Abrasive cleaners and scouring pads wear down the matte finish until the surface looks cloudy. We restore these with staged diamond polishing, matched to Cambria’s original finish spec.
  • Failed laminate tops that should have been quartz from the start. A lot of San Martin ADUs and shop kitchens were originally fitted with laminate. After a few years of rural dust, heat, and hard use, the laminate delaminates. We replace it with Cambria, properly supported and sealed.

Cambria Service in San Martin: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Countertop

Here’s something most out-of-town fabricators don’t plan for. Because San Martin runs under Santa Clara County and county fire/planning jurisdiction rather than a city building department, a kitchen or ADU project with Cambria tops often has its final inspection routed through county permitting. That means your slab delivery and template date need to line up with private-road access and well/septic coordination, not a standard in-town schedule. For Cambria in Corralitos and nearby rural parcels, we replaced a failed laminate top in a detached ADU kitchen off Llagas Road with a Cambria Torquay slab. The private drive was too narrow for the slab truck, so we staged the top at the road and carried it in after a template visit confirmed the overhang needed corbels we hadn’t originally planned for. Our tech cut and re-polished the sink opening to a 2cm-friendly profile with proper undermount clips. The island now carries that overhang cleanly.

Good construction doesn’t need a sales pitch, the work explains itself.

Cambria Models & Products We Service in San Martin

We template and install the full Cambria quartz lineup, from the warm gray Cambria Ella that fits so many San Martin ranch kitchens to Cambria Torquay on large-lot custom homes and Cambria Britannica in older farmhouse updates. We also handle matte and brushed finishes for outdoor-adjacent bar and shop counters, where a honed surface makes more sense than polished.

Our parts approach is straightforward. We use OEM-compatible fabrication materials and proper diamond abrasives for re-polishing, never aftermarket edge strips or fillers that fail in a season. We stock the consumables and clip hardware needed for most Cambria service in Amesti and San Martin calls, so we’re not waiting on a parts order to schedule your repair.

Cambria Service Pricing in San Martin

Service Price Range
Countertop Installation (Cambria quartz) $2,000 – $6,500
Kitchen Island Installation $3,000 – $10,000
Cabinet Installation $4,000 – $13,000
Backsplash Installation $800 – $2,500

What moves the number is square footage of slab, how many seams the layout requires, edge profile work, and whether we’re reinforcing the cabinet structure underneath. A Cambria top on a small ADU kitchen runs lower in the range; a large island with a waterfall edge and bookmatched seams runs higher. Every estimate includes a written line-item breakdown before we start, so you know exactly what you’re paying for. Call (833) 400-1314 to schedule your free estimate.
